Both sides of the sponge are cross cut, creating channels that pull dirt from the paint and reduce marring. The porous foam will hold a great deal of cleaning/lubricating solution allowing larger sections to be safely washed before wringing and reloading the sponge. Maintenance Instructions: After use, rinse the Big Red Sponge in hot water and Optimum Power Clean (or dish detergent), squeezing until it stops foaming. Optimum FerreX™ is designed to dissolve and remove ferrous oxides from wheels and painted surfaces quickly by bonding and dissolving them away with minimal effort. Furthermore, Optimum FerreX™ will dissolve and remove other surface contaminants such as tar and wax at the same time. Directions for wheels: Avoid using on hot surfaces. Wash wheels to remove excess contaminants. Spray Optimum FerreX™ directly on wheels and allow 1 - 2 minutes to fully dissolve ferrous oxides. Agitate with a soft bristle brush as needed. Rinse off with plenty of water. Directions for painted surfaces: Wash with Optimum No Rinse™ Wash & Shine or Optimum Car Wash before applying Optimum FerreX™. Use on a cool surface and out of direct sunlight. Spray Optimum FerreX™ directly on painted surface and allow 1 - 2 minutes to fully dissolve ferrous oxide. Agitate with a microfiber towel or soft sponge if necessary. Rinse off with plenty of water. -

Therefore you are using the entire pad to polish the paint and achieve better results in less time than a conventional polish. Its spray application minimizes the chance of overloading or gumming up the pad, and it provides an even application. Optimum Hyper Polish is VOC compliant and body shop safe. It can be used with any type of buffing pad or buffing machine. It acts as a light compound with a cutting pad and as a finishing polish with a finishing pad. It works quickly to remove (not hide) swirl marks, scratches, and other blemishes, while creating a perfect shine on all types of paint. Optimum Hyper Polish has excellent workability on painted surfaces and will not clog buffing pads. Aggressive enough for paint correction and swirl removal, yet the shine, clarity, and gloss of the paint left behind requires only final protection. -
Optimum Black Waffle Foam Pad is a great one step polishing pad that can be used with Zentool DA Polisher to remove medium to light scratches and swirl marks in one or two passes. The waffle design as well as the breathable backing plate of Zentool DA Polisher keeps the surface cool to avoid burnishing the paint that is caused by over-heating the surface. Directions: To remove 3,000 grit or finer sanding marks spray Optimum Hyper™ Compound on the Optimum Black Waffle Foam Pad using Zentool DA Polisher at speed of 3-4 or a rotary buffer at 1200-1400 RPM. This combination will remove (not hide) scratches after 1-2 passes and leave a finish with zero marring that is free of swirl marks. Follow up with Optimum Hyper Polish and Optimum Black Waffle Foam Pad to refine the paint surface before applying Optimum Car Wax. -
Optimum Paint Prep™ is an excellent cleaner for removing polish or old wax before applying any of Optimum Coatings or any other coatings or waxes. A combination of mild solvents dissolves and removes all the contaminants and leaves the paint squeaky clean and ready for the final protection. Optimum Paint Prep™ does not contain any oils or surfactants and leaves no residue behind. You can use it for cleaning all interior or exterior surfaces whenever a clean surface is desired. Directions: Simply spray Optimum Paint Prep™ on the surface to be cleaned and wipe off with a clean dry microfiber towel til there is no residue left. The paint should feel squeaky clean after this step. Repeat the process if needed. -
