WASHING For best results, wash with Opti-Coat No Rinse on a monthly basis at a minimum to avoid excessive contamination build up on the surface. Avoid washing your Boat or RV in direct sunlight if possible. Heated panels will cause drying and possibly leave streaks and water spotting on the surface. If this is not an option, then wash and dry one panel at a time for best results. Wash the cleanest panels first. Leave the dirtiest panels for last to avoid cross contamination. Usually this involves starting from the top panels and followed by the lower ones. DRYING Always dry your RV or Boat completely and never allow it to air dry. Tap water contains minerals. When the water evaporates, these minerals are deposited on the surface creating water spots. As the minerals harden with heat, they can be extremely difficult to remove from the surface. SPOT REMOVAL OF SURFACE CONTAMINATION Never use abrasive products to polish the coating or to remove surface contamination. Never use excessive rubbing or force to remove spot contamination. Surface contamination such as tar and other contaminants should be removed as soon as possible to avoid temporary staining of the coating and/or hardening on the surface requiring professional removal. Directions:
To Kill Fungi: Pre-clean visibly soiled surfaces. Apply Assure undiluted to hard, non-porous surfaces and let air dry.
To Control Mold/Mildew: Apply Assure undiluted to hard, non-porous surfaces which will effectively inhibit the growth of mold and mildew and their odors. Repeat treatment once every seven days if new growth appears.
For Use as a General Disinfectant:
1. Pre-clean visibly soiled surfaces.
2. Apply Assure undiluted to the surfaces with a sponge, brush, cloth, or trigger spray. For spray application, spray 6-8 inches form the surface. Do not breathe spray.
3. Treated surfaces must remain visibly wet for 1 minute to kill SARS Covid2and 10 minutes to kill all organisms listed above. Rinse with potable water after use on surfaces that come in contact with food.
4. Wipe dry with a clean cloth or allow to air dry.
5. Change solution when visibly dirty.
