Opti-Coat RV & Marine Care Guide

WASHING For best results, wash with Opti-Coat No Rinse on a monthly basis at a minimum to avoid excessive contamination build up on the surface. Avoid washing your Boat or RV in direct sunlight if possible. Heated panels will cause drying and possibly leave streaks and water spotting on the surface. If this is not an option, then wash and dry one panel at a time for best results. Wash the cleanest panels first. Leave the dirtiest panels for last to avoid cross contamination. Usually this involves starting from the top panels and followed by the lower ones. DRYING Always dry your RV or Boat completely and never allow it to air dry. Tap water contains minerals. When the water evaporates, these minerals are deposited on the surface creating water spots. As the minerals harden with heat, they can be extremely difficult to remove from the surface.  SPOT REMOVAL OF SURFACE CONTAMINATION Never use abrasive products to polish the coating or to remove surface contamination. Never use excessive rubbing or force to remove spot contamination. Surface contamination such as tar and other contaminants should be removed as soon as possible to avoid temporary staining of the coating and/or hardening on the surface requiring professional removal. For assistance with contamination removal or maintenance standards and techniques, contact your Opti-Coat Marine & RV dealer for professional advice.   MRP: $100.00 per linear foot
